New Year - New Resolutions - New Beginnings

This will be the last Blog of the year. I'll be switching my computer off very shortly and going to do stuff.
Ours has been a very work oriented Christmas this year, Hubby has been at work every day and I've been finding stuff to do - AWESOME Online Magazine, Film work, Editing etc - in fact, it's been a very busy and frenetic year.
I can't say that I'm happy this year is over, for the most part, it's been a thrilling and exciting journey with just a few bumps and potholes in our road but I am enthusiastic to be looking forward to the next. I'll be very pleased to see an end to some of the major events from this year...
Here comes the big BUT...
There are so many new and exciting projects on our horizons and I can't see them lessening. We have a new addition to our family, baby Mia Rose has joined our ranks and her birth is the highlight of our year.
The collaboration with Phil Gardiner has been one of the major events to shape the six months since my husband took ill (don't worry, he's on the mend and now that we know there's an issue, it can be monitored and kept at bay). Two films this year, and at least another one - which I'm writing the screenplay to and Directing will mean that we're going to be busy, busy, busy for at least another few months and then who knows what's going to turn up?
We have friends who are happy to see us when we turn up unexpectedly, enough family to keep an eye on us that we don't run amok and the good will of everyone we meet (or so it seems) and so, what more is there to ask?
I have one more thing to say and I've said it once today already:

Here's to the New Year and the adventures to be found there!

I know, I know, I'm like a broken record... (Note for the younger readers, a 'record' is like a CD but less technologically advanced. They were prone to scratching and therefore sometimes went over the same bit over and over and over and over and...) BUT I have to say that this week has been utterly brilliant!
The talent we have in abundance is amazing. The enthusiasm is astonishing and the whole bloomin' lot - cast, crew and everyone in between - are totally AEWESOME.
From last month when we made a music video to this week when we've made new friends and cemented old friendships have been such wonderful experiences. I don't recall one moment when I thought "I wish I was somewhere else" - not even when the cold has been bone-deep, the wind has been biting the gas urn won't work, everyone has a question and everything needs to be done RIGHT NOW! Everyone has pulled together, not made a crisis out of anything and got on with sorting stuff out.
I'm humbled by the level of professional people we have on set, on hand and on call, you are who have made this all possible. Yeah, we've got some fabulous locations but if we didn't have the people to make it all work, pull it and hold it together, then there wouldn't be a movie.
To you, the cast and crew, friends and supporters of Dead Walkers, I give my heartfelt thanks and gratitude. We respect and appreciate you all.
